I’ve had a partner contact me to see if there is a way to identify areas within an agricultural field that are less accessible for tractor/equipment. Conceptually what I’m looking for is a fragmentation assessment that identifies non-rectangular geometry. However, at the field scale (not the landscape) the classic fragmentation analysis won’t work due to data resolution. The level of accuracy doesn’t need to be in feet, so a faster (10m) resolution would be fine. Anyone have any thoughts?
