ArcGIS Pro 2.4

I must be missing something obvious, but...

If I open an ArcGIS Pro Session with Start without a template, and add specific tools to the Favorites List and or the Analysis Gallery, how can I ensure they will be there the next time I open ArcGIS Pro without a template?

That should just about do it....

I am not sure that it is designed that way; https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/projects/create-a-new-project.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_D3876767A5924...

It looks like unless you save that "template" with all the information it is forgotten when closed.

Did it work that way in ArcGIS Pro 2.3.x?

Thanks George.  I know I created my own templates using my favorites in earlier versions.  I can just do that again; actually, the catalog template is a good one to 'save as' since it more or less emulates an ArcCatalog session.

That should just about do it....

https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/analysis/geoprocessing/basics/customize-arcgis-pro-with-geopr... in terms of the documentation on how geoprocessing favorites work (i.e. they are project specific).

I find the easiest way is to create a startup project that I use that has all of my geo, tools, links and folders loaded. I then remove any stuff I dont need or want for whatever project I'm doing. that way all my stuff is there everytime.
