Similar to how this is done in ArcMap it would be very useful if the outputs of the Export to CAD geoprocessing tool in ArcGIS PRO were placed into a single group in the TOC. Ideally, this group name would be the same as the name of the CAD output file. Currently, Export to CAD tool adds the results to the TOC as individual layers with generic names (Annotiation, Point, Polyline, MultiPatch, Polygon) and exporting (and subsequently needing to verify) the outputs requires me to manually create and place them in a group. It would be great to reproduce ArcMap behaviour in this instance.

Adding a CAD file to Pro also exhibits this behavior.   I would very much like to see CAD files added to the TOC as a single group layer.   Currently over 20+ layers are added and are a challenge to manage.   There is precedence for this.   Feature services, for example, are added as a single group layer.

Hi @EdDempsey,

Starting in ArcGIS Pro 3.2 (Nov. 2023), the organization of read-only feature layers from CAD is a more compact grouping. CAD entities are, by default, organized by geometric type into a group of group layers. The following feature classes are taken into account: Point, Polyline, Polygon, Annotation, and Multipatch--with Annotation being newly added to the organization process as of ArcGIS Pro 3.2.

Hi @JakubSisak,

Starting in ArcGIS Pro 3.2 (Nov. 2023), the default organization of read-only feature layers from CAD is organized into a group of group layers.

The Export to CAD tool produces as output DWG, DXF, or DGN. The outputted CAD file is not loaded into ArcGIS Pro.

If you're wanting to work with the outputted CAD content in ArcGIS Pro, you can load the outputted CAD file just like any other CAD file. On loading the CAD file in ArcGIS Pro, it adheres to that organization into a single group of group layers. The group layer will be named the same as the outputted CAD file name.

Please let us know if the above is in-line with the Idea.
