Recently, I went to create a locator in ArcGIS Pro 3.1.5 for the first time at that version, and the naming of a locator could not support spaces in the name like it could at 2.9.7. Spaces should be supported in naming of locators in ArcGIS Pro.
There is an existing defect regarding this issue BUG-000152010 and we are seeing the following behavior: The Create Locator tool in ArcGIS Pro 2.9 allowed for spaces in the name. After upgrading to ArcGIS Pro 3.0, these locators no longer worked and produced Invalid Locator messages.
Closing this as an idea since it is a bug and will be addressed accordingly. Status updates can be found through the link to the bug on the support site.
