We use GlobalIDs for the unique recognition of objects in different feature classes. For the manual search for very specific objects in the attribute table, it would be practical to be able to enter only a part of the GlobalID rather than the entire GlobalID. This currently works with the “Select by attributes” function, but not with the standard search.
