I have a Logging Roads layer. When defining the symbology, I want to use the symbol from an existing Trails layer.

If I understand correctly, there isn't an easy way to do that. (I don't want to save a symbol style to a file, or anything like that.)

Could functionality be added for applying symbology from one layer to another?

Thanks.

Does Apply Symbology From Layer do what you want?

Yes, I think it does. Thanks.

I was looking in the Gallery/Properties sub tab, no the Primary Symbology sub tab, which is why I didn't see it:

I don't understand why that GP tool is so slow. Importing symbology in ArcMap was instantaneous. If it's going to take 60 seconds in Pro to run the GP tool, then in some cases, it'd be faster just to create the symbology from scratch.
