It would be nice to be able to revert the currently opened ArcGIS Pro project to the saved version, after doing lots of playing around that I don't want to keep. That way I don't have to close Pro and reopen it.
Mark Cederholm What about just using the Undo stack? You could keep edits, and undo and changes to the map by filtering:
Filter undo and redo for editing—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop
Would that accomplish what you're trying to do?
Not really. It still leaves a lot of crap in memory, and the project is still marked as changed. Hopefully Pro isn't as bad as ArcMap: God, the crud that just won't go away in an MXD is horrific, even with defragging. Nonetheless, back in the days when I used CorelDraw all the time, having the "Revert to Saved" option was a great way to restart a session with a clean slate. I wish Microsoft Office had that option as well.
