When working with layouts in a map series, there might be feature classes near one another. It makes creating multiple layouts difficult. When trying to zoom in or out of a feature class you want to focus on, it is not possible to make the other feature classes invisible after unchecking the boxes in the contents pane. This seems to only occur when creating a map series rather than doing layouts individually. Thanks.

Hi, I think your problem might be solved by page queries. Can you take a look and see if they give you the result you want? Learn about page queries and how to apply them here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/layouts/page-queries.htm

Hi Aubri,

Thank you for the reply. I was able to successfully create the map series.

It was the page queries, yet it did not work for a few layouts. I had to create those separately so other polygon or line feature classes would not show. Thanks.
