Allow which of multiple symbol layer(s) is to be displayed in symbol patch for layer in Contents pane (and Legend)
An issue that I've encountered is at Choosing which of multiple symbol layer(s) to display in symbol patch for polyline layer in Contents...
My polyline layer is symbolized by using hatches and labels of measures along its features. I learned how to do that at Draw measured hatches along lines—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation.
Consequently, my polyline symbol has two shape marker layers (one text, one marker). Unfortunately, neither of these appear in the symbol patch. Ideally, I would like to be able to choose to see the shape marker symbol in the legend patch to meet my current requirement. However, there may be times when I want to also see the text and/or line in that symbol patch too/instead.
Perhaps the Layers tab of the Properties on the Symbology pane could have a toggle for each layer that determines whether it is to be seen in the symbol patch.
