I'm working on a rather large print map. It's a floor-to-ceiling wall map, 206in wide X 102in tall. The base imagery is an important element of the map, so I was hoping to export a 300-dpi TIFF. Even with compression options, the output always winds up over 5GB, which exceeds the 4GB size limit on TIFF files, meaning... the export fails. We can settle for a high quality JPEG for now. But I've just learned about BigTIFF, and I'm wondering if it might be possible to add BigTIFF as an option when exporting a layout. Thanks!
Same situation here! Printing a 6' tall university campus utility map on whiteboard-marker-safe paper, so people will be up close and personal looking at details and facing the same 4gb file export failure. It took me too long to figure out I was hitting the TIFF size limit, so please, BigTIFF!
