It would be good to add additional Details to the Catalog View (and Catalog Pane).

Right now Maps and Layouts have a column for Date but nothing is populated.  Date is only populated in Databases.

Date should be populated for all elements that are visible in Catalog.

Additionally the Document Path should be an additional column to help us ensure that we are pathed to correct data.

Dates and Size, please.....also the ability to select all records (so as to be able to copy/paste eleswhere)!

modified date and size are really important - the lack of this feature is keeping my users from moving to Pro from Desktop.    Please add this feature ASAP !

@MattFreid  Date and size are coming in ArcGIS Pro 3.0 - sorry for the wait.

See https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/announcements/get-ready-for-arcgis-pro-3-0/ for some details about getting ready for the release, and we'll have a lot more resources about What's New as we approach the release in mid-June.

Thank you.

I find it difficult to understand why it takes ESRI so long incorporate features into Pro that have long been available in old ArcMap/Catalog.  Why weren't seemingly standard options available in version 1 of Pro?

ESRI is notorious for releasing new and "improved" software that take us two steps back.  It is so frustrating.

@MatthewStephenson2 Exactly! We are basically paying to be beta testers.

In ArcGIS Pro 3.0, Date Modified and Size for file geodatabase items as described here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/projects/use-catalog-views.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_73E7BF5AD... We're working on providing additional details in the catalog view in upcoming releases.

See Ideas in ArcGIS Pro 3.0  to see this and all of the other ideas you can look forward to when you upgrade.

Also be sure to check out the What's New documentation: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/get-started/whats-new-in-arcgis-pro.htm

+1 for this.  It would be incredibly useful for data management to know what size database objects were and when they were last edited.  Imagine using File Explorer with no modified date or size information!

The date field has not been in the catalog view for AcrGIS Pro from inception, and we've had folks in this thread alone demonstrate the pain they are feeling in having to operate in dual environments ArcPro/ArcMap for a good 4+ years. We've seen many, many other fixes and additions from 1.0 to 2.9, and thank you ESRI. I wonder, how did this fundamental data management issue not hit the development team till 3.0 and who thought this can was worth kicking for 4+ years.

With the major release of AcrPro 3.0 we see a flash of light at the end of the tunnel. However, this comes with a significant ask on the side of the system requirements...upgrade to Windows 11 and new .NET requirements, of which many folks don't have too much control. On top of that, many are in the habit (rightfully so) to wait for a more stable version of the new release being available, like ArcPro 3.1.0. So, change will come but still a ways off for many daily users.

Would it be too much to ask that a patch be available for those of us who are risk averse and would like to continue on with 2.9.x for a bit longer before diving into 3.0? We already have 5 patches for 2.9, why not go for 6?

Sorry, is that mandatory?  Seems to work okay.
