With ArcGIS Pro, when different GCS are used, the transformation that best fits the area of use and accuracy is automatically set.
If a user-defined geographic transformation is added, unfortunately no area of validity and no accuracy can be specified. From then on, the transformation is always accepted by the system as the most suitable.
Suggestion for improvement: Possibility of optionally specifying the accuracy and area of use when creating custom geographic transformations and then also taking these values into account in the automatic selection of the transformation.
