In this session we covered new Parcel Fabric capabilities for ArcGIS Pro 3.0.
Here are some of the new capabilities (not in presentation order):
1. Parcel fabrics use standard geodatabase topology
2. A new Reconstruct Boundaries tool makes sure every polygon edge shows a dimension
3. A new geoprocessing tool 'Set Label Position' sets the label on the correct side of the line without changing the record measurement
4. A new tool 'Reconstruct from Seeds' will re-create the parcel polygon regardless of the line association to the record
5. Editing: the Divide tool supports dividing a line using the same distance multiple times, and more...
6. A new Transfer Parcel Wizard can help you with annexations and ROW vacation/dedication workflows in 3 simple steps
7. Traverse performance enhancement - type as fast as you can
8. A new geoprocessing tool called 'Update COGO' allows you to automate inversing of lines. It's likely to be used when ingesting CAD files.
9. Ever forget to create a new Active Record? well - you'll be notified If you suddenly start creating features far away from the record geometry
10. The Merge Parcel Points interface has been enhanced.
11. Geoprocessing Append Parcels will show you how many parcels and features have been appended
12. Default layer labeling improvements
13. Have any Add-ins? get ready for SDK breaking changes and new SDK methods. Yes - you will have to recompile your custom code.
