I have a several web maps that I built using the classic map viewer. I just now noticed that the "Open with Map Viewer Classic" option is no longer available. The only option now is to open web maps in the new map viewer.
So my question is: if I open a web map that was built in the classic map viewer, will I lose all of the pop-ups and other customizations for that map if I open it in the new map viewer?
I know ESRI is phasing out the classic map viewer, but I understood that we had until around the 4th quarter of 2025 to convert our classic web maps to the new map viewer. I'm in the process of doing that, but in the meantime I need to make a few updates to my classic web maps.

Ok, I found a workaround. Seems ESRI's really trying to get us to not use the classic map viewer. They've moved the option to open it to the Overview page for the web map.
So, I can still open my old web maps in the classic map viewer and make edits. And yes, I do know that I have to migrate them to the new map viewer before the end of this year, and I'm working on doing that.

I noticed resaving web maps from Map Viewer Classic to Map Viewer in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1 can distort the aspect ratio of local custom symbol refrenced through hyperlinks. So it might be worth recreating the Map Viewer version from scratch, just in case.
