Where is the scale bar in ArcGIS online? I wish this was automatically visible like Google Earth. I need the scale and the direction on my map, but I don't see either options.
I would suggest making a simple app from your map that may have a scale bar widget option. It looks like this was also an enhancement request, that was not being considered.
