Web map viewer - keep symbology the same size at all scales

I have a point dataset that I need to keep at a fixed size. In the web map viewer, the size adjusts as you zoom in and out of the map. I've looked everywhere and can't find anything to keep it fixed.

In ArcGIS pro you can use proportional symbols  to reflect the actual size of things (tree canopies etc...):

Surely you must be able to do this with features in the web map viewer?

Greetings @SamJack

Have a look at the following article by Kristian Ekenes, Autosize by Scale now available in Map Viewer Beta.

I tried this with a point layer representing Peruvian restaurants in London, by enabling the Adjust size automatically checkbox, and I got points with fixed sizes:

As I zoom in, the point symbols remain at the almost the same size:

Is this what you were looking for?

Hope this helps.

Hi @SamJakson,

Did you ever find a solution for this in the web map viewer? I was able to get a layer in ArcGIS Pro to display point symbols with a fixed 100ft radius (appear larger as you zoom in to reflect actual size), but I can't get this to work in AGOL/Field Maps.

Thanks!

Nope! Ended up logging a call with ESRI and was told this isn't possible. You can only symbolize the 'actual size' of things in ArcGIS pro.  Very frustrating!
