Web map does not show field symbology when editing to create a line of a specific type

Good afternoon,

After adding a line hosted layer to a web from and adding symbology to a this layer in order to show 3 types of lines, I am not able to create a new line selecting one of the colors.   When I edit the layer in the web form, it does not show the colors created with symbology.

Please advise.

Hi @SanchezNuñez,

In order for templates to match symbology, you'll need to update the templates.

At this time, you can manage templates using either Map Viewer Classic or Field Maps Designer.

To manage feature templates in Field Maps Designer, follow these steps:

* Open the map in Field Maps Designer. 
* Navigate to the layer
* Tap to open the 'Templates' tab
* Duplicate the existing template and make changes to the name (ie. Name = 'Red line')
* You can also set default values for fields in the layer (ie for the field Color, default value = red). 
* Repeat for each feature type.

Back in Map Viewer, when you click 'Edit', you'll see the updated list of templates you can choose from.
