Hello,
I am using a Map Tour for the first time in my StoryMap that I am creating. It is a Grid Categorized tour and I want to be able to write a description within each individual item, but it will not let me.
For example, I have the towns in my county separated into 3 separate categories, "A", "B", and "C", but I want to write a description for each town, attach URLs, attach media, etc. but I can't even type even though I was able to before. I'm looking for a solution to this, maybe I made the feature layer incorrectly? Do I have to write the description within the table of the feature layer? This is my first time posting here so any assistance is greatly appreciated!
Thank you, Madyson

Description is coming from a field in your data. You can then go to the media tab to play around with attachments.
If you want to customize it more and write your own descriptions I would use a side car rather than a map tour.
You can add a text field and include a link for media or just enable attachments on your layer.

Thank you for your help, I was able to add the description field for now, I'm hoping I'll be able to write more in the future but that is something I will fiddle with later. As for adding in media, will I have to make a new Media field in the table, and then just attach links to the photos I want to add in? I'm not sure hoe to configure that since when I go to add a new field, my only options are String, Number, Date, or Global Identifier.
As for using the Side Car v. Map Tour, I am looking ability to toggle between the different places and allow users to compare what it says for their town versus another. The project I am working on is evaluating townships, so to be able to separate them by categories and for easy navigation between towns is vital .
