Hi Peoples,
I have a Map created using the Classic Map Viewer in ArcGIS Online, that references an ArcGIS Server service containing Time-Aware layers.
When you publish your map to ArcGIS Server, the time information in your time-enabled layers and map is preserved and accessible through the map service.
The AGOL Map I created works in Classic Map Viewer, but fails to work in the new Map Viewer.
Anyone else seen this behaviour?
Cheers,
Mark
Can you share the map?
Hi Russell,
You should be able to see the following public map.
Layers are coming from our ArcGIS Server:

Looks like it might be a CORS policy issue on the server setup. I added the layers as an item first and then brought them into the Map Viewer which removes the URL access and works around the CORS issue and it works.

Hi Russell,
Thanks for looking into this. I can't seem to reproduce the steps you have used. Could you break it down for me please.
In MyContent
I tried again with reference to the one layer
This opens in Classic Map viewer. Does not open in new map viewer.
The one you created works - what did you do?
I noted there was not identify in yours?
Cheers,
Mark
Yup thats what I did
My Content - Add Item - ArcGIS Server Service and then used this option
Then from Map Viewer for the reference layer bc I have it already open I did Add Layer in Map Viewer and on the reference layer item Use as Basemap
Didn't adjust any sharing settings until after I authored the map to post in this thread.
