Is it possible to create thematic maps based on town polygons? Does the user upload a shapefile to do so? Is it possible to upload a table of town data and join it to that town shapefile? How about to a ArcGIS Server town poly mapservice or featureservice?
We are running ArcGIS Server and publish mapservices but we are looking to instruct users to do some of their own mapping. Our most common case is "color towns based on data". I know it can be done in ESRI Maps for Office (Excel) using our towns mapservice - so why can't I figure out how to do it at ArcGIS Online?
Any insight appreciated!
