Hi,
We have a secured map service, publicly accessible, that we want to add as an item in ArcGIS Online.
When adding it with HTTP as an item from the web, it asks whether to store credentials or not, which is good (see image below):
However, when we use HTTPS for the same map service, the option is not there:
Any idea why that is??
Thanks.

This is now resolved for those interested. It turns out the ArcGIS Server environment had incomplete SSL certificate chain, thus when HTTPS is used in ArcGIS Online's Add Item, it does not ask for credentials to persist. Once we provided all the missing certificates, the Add Item dialog works. We used this tool to check the certificate chans: https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html

I am seeing this issue but we don't use SSL.
