spatial displacement of referenced shapefile in arcgisOnline

I edited some polygon-data based on official geodata from our ministry. spatial reference systems (PD/83_GK_Zone_4, Bessel) are defined correctly and coordinates appear correct in arcGIS Desktop.
Exporting data to shapefile and uploading it to any arcgis online basemap results in an spatial displacement of sereval 20 to 100 meters (see attachments). How can I solve this problem?

Peter,

try projecting your data into WGS 1984 Web Mercator (auxiliary sphere) using this tool and then upload it to ArcGIS Online. Let me know if that fixes the displacement.

Hello Tim,
many thanks , the new screenshot shows some result, but data does't realy fit better, only a little, after transformation with the mentioned tool.
Are there other tools?

Hi,

Could you send us the shapefile so we can have a look at it?

Dear Akos,

here are the original shapefiles (flächen, linien, punkte) wit the spatial displacement in webgis. as well i enclose the transformed shapefiles (to WGS 1984 Web Mercator auxiliary sphere) and an txt.file with the spatial reference information of the original high resolution data from our ministry. Find as well tha map document with relative pathnames.

Many thanks for your help!
Best Greetings

Peter,

I think it's not a coordinate system problem.
Your data is more accurate than the topographic basemap provided by Esri. If you compare your data to the Imagery basemap, it can be noticed, that the shapes of the islands are different, but the outline of the main island in the northwest is lined up with the basemap.

So the "problem" is that your data was digitized based on another raster dataset and the basemaps are bit different.

Also try compare the data to Bing Maps. You can add it to the Desktop by clicking File >> Add Data... >> Add Data from ArcGIS Online >> Search for Bing Maps.

I attached the transformed shps.

I hope this can help.

Akos
