Send/Receive Messages AGOL

Has anyone explored the ability to incorporate or build a "web messenger" for AGOL and their apps? Basically it would allow the user to communicate directly with the AGOL admin.

Would you want to contact an admin for an organization or the owner of a specific app? If the org admin configures the contact us link, the admin of an organization can easily be contacted:

We are working on some future functionality about implementing notifications in ArcGIS Online. Logging an idea or adding your specific use case to these ideas would be really helpful as we investigate this further.

No an email would not be sufficient. I'm looking at a way to let my users feel like I'm providing a personal touch for them. Having a chat available to them would be great because they can quickly ask me live questions rather than wait for an email back,

Do the comments available on the item details page at all? or are you looking to have a discussion like widget in an application? Would you want the messaging to be to one specific user or something that all could see who view the app?

More like a discussion. Probably with specific users.
