I am having a lot of problems with the AGOL Home page.  It is just not at all professional looking.  I can't even add a link without it taking up a lot of space and looking bad, The header takes up WAY too much space, and only providing tiles is bad design.  It is almost like ESRI wants us to just use the home page as a sort of "splash" page.  Ok, that is fine, but I don't want my users to have an extra click for no reason.  Sorry, I am obviously frustrated with fiddling with this.  My question:

How can I redirect the home page to another page?  I have googled this and I think that the answers are old. One said to create a Hub page and then use the "domain" settings in there to do the redirect.  Unfortunately, I get an error that says the domain cant contain "arcgis.com".  So....I found another answer that said to go to Organization/Settings/Domain settings and I would be able to change either the domain or add a redirect there...well, "Domain Settings" doesn't appear to exist.

Making the home page pretty and functional is, like it or not, one of the main keys to adoption.  If the home page looks/feels kludgy then it will be harder to get people to like it. First impressions.  My manager cannot let it go that he needs certain things to change....that I can't change.  Please help!

@LisaT , Are you trying to navigate from Home page to other ArcGIS Online pages(contents, gallery, org..) or are you trying to reach any other web pages like google.com from the AGOL home page?

Can you add a few screenshots to see how it looks, and what are you trying to achieve.
