RE: Editing with Data Validation of Attributes

Hi All,

I would like to have an ArcGIS.com map that several people could update existing information and add new attributes.  However, I want to have more sophisticated data validation than ArcGIS.com provides.  I would like to have the ability to have checkboxes, combo boxes (and so on) so I can have the analyst have constrained.

Can I do this out of the box with ArcGIS.com or do I need to move to something like the Flex Viewer ?

ArcGIS.com Map Viewer doesn't support the type of editing you want to do. You probably could write your own application to do so. There are a lot of samples that are documented with the Web APIs. Here's a link
