Random Increase in Credit Burn on Imagery Items

In ArcGIS Online we have a user who had several dynamic imagery layers and some tiled imagery layers. These all were last updated or modified in 2020/2021. Sometime around September 3rd/4th of this year, our AGO credit burn increased by 150 credits per 24 hours and I was able to narrow down the root to these dynamic and tiled imagery services. After 6 days I ended up deleting all of these and the credit burn went back to what it was before.

If these items were not modified or created over this time period, then what happened with the surge in credits? This was strictly imagery storage and not analysis or feature storage. The largest tiled imagery item was a little over 1GB.

We don't have any other data items in AGO of these types to do testing around this, but wondering if anyone else have seen behavior like this? Was this just a fluke?
