Option to "adjust chart size automatically" not working?

Hi Community,

I'm using the new capability of map viewer (added in june 22) to create donut/pie charts over a feature. I choose the "Chart" style (because I wanted all the donuts to be the same size) and checked the option to "Adjust the chart size automatically". 

What I would expect now would be for the donut charts to get bigger as I zoom in, but this doesn't happen.

Is it a bug or am I not understanding what the option is for?
