Opening hosted feature service in ArcGIS Desktop

I created a hosted feature service in ArcGIS Online and made some field collections with Collector.  Now I want to bring the features back into ArcMap and integrate the data into our normal geodatabases.  I have used the "Open in ArcGIS for Desktop" tool within ArcGIS Online, and the "Add data from ArcGIS Online" tool within ArcMap.  In both cases, I see the data in ArcMap, and I can Identify the data.  The problem is that I can't export it to a file geodatabase, or view the attribute table.  When I try opening the attribute table, I get an error message (see attachment).

Any ideas?

I would still like to know if there is a way to access this data in ArcMap, but I did find a workaround.  I was able to export to a Shapefile from ArcGIS Online, and open that in ArcMap.  This allows access to all the data.

Hi Erik,

With the latest update you can choose to export the data to a File Geodatabase. This is done by viewing the Item Description for the Feature Service and clicking the export button > to FGDB.

Thanks!
