Multipoint Features Supported in ArcGIS Online and Collector for ArcGIS?

Question

Are multipoint features supported in ArcGIS Online and Collector for ArcGIS?  I can't seem to add point features to a hosted multipoint feature layer within an ArcGIS Online web map, that same web map in Collector and within a web app created using web app builder for ArcGIS (trying with edit widget).

Editing multi-part features (including multipoint) is now supported in the new ArcGIS Web Editor. Check it out!

I need there to be only one attribute for all multipoints, how is this done?
