The ESRI Maps for Office add-in for Excel seems to be interfering with printing and saving to PDF. I want to keep this add-in to help automate and share maps more quickly and dynamically, however I need to have the ability to print my excel files to PDF on a daily basis, sometimes with the use of macros. When I try to print/save to PDF, excel becomes unresponsive and usually crashes. When I remove the add-in, everything works fine.
I had removed the add-in, but it adds itself back every time excel is opened. Since I'm usually not mapping when I'm in excel, I would like to be able to only load in the add in when I need it as a work around.
Another issue I've experienced is that it seems to bog down performance in excel significantly. I'm seeing more "Out of Memory" errors with larger files.
Anyone else experiencing these issue? Any solution/work-around?
