I have joined a hosted feature layer and a hosted table to make a Latest Inspection layer using the Join Feature in ArcOnline Map Viewer Classic. When I insert the layer into Map Viewer, select a feature, the popup does not work. If I go to Map Viewer Classic, the popup works just fine. Is there a capability issue with these types of layers in Map Viewer?
The popups use to work as there are whole dashboards created in my organization dedicated to the information that the table provided. I am in the process of updating them and I am unsure why I am getting this error now.
Unfortunately, there was not a resolution for this. Our work around was creating a separate feature service for the joined layer and use the Data Interpolarity Extension tool to push updates to it nightly instead of the changes be in real-time.
Good to know, thanks!
I can confirm that there is a bug here related to the new Web Map Viewer. I have a joined hosted feature layer view with approximately 136,000 records. Pop ups for the view layer fail intermittently when I view this in the new Web Map Viewer. Pop ups work 100% of the time in the Web Map Viewer classic (which ESRI is making harder and harder to find in its AGOL interface). Interestingly, if I filter my join view layer to only records where OBJECTID < 40,000, pop ups in the new Web Map Viewer function ok (although much slower than the Classic version). But if I filter for OBJECTID > 40,000 about 90% of the pop ups fail and the only ones that work have OBJECT ID just a bit greater than 40,000. Don't have time to figure out the "magic number", maybe ESRI can do that and fix this bug in their software.
This bug was first reported almost 2 years ago. Is anyone from ESRI listening???
