It's Friday in GMT+10 and AGOL is not behaving. Is this a thing?

Correlation and Causation are complex topics. 
I am siting in front of ArcGIS Online trying to get stuff done for a team going bush Monday. 

It is not behaving - I'll do the same thing to three layers and one will bomb out in some way. 
I'll try to create offline areas for Field Maps and get the mystical "Failed" message.  I can download a similar area direct on the mobile device without an error. 

Based on previous occasions, I bet I can come back over the weekend and I'll get everything done in half the time.

This seems to happen a lot on my Fridays - Does Esri do maintenance work on their Thursday nights aka my Friday days?

This is a good example. Where's the rest of the create offline area bits?

I know I can clean the browser and refresh the cookies and bake a cake etc but this feels more common on Fridays than Mondays.

It's Sunday and the Offline Area that kept on failing Friday just completed within a few minutes.
