Is there a limit on the number of fields created by an AGOL analytical process ie a spatial join for - a new feature layer?

Does anyone know if there is a limit on the number of fields created by an analytical process - specifically a spatial join in this case - within AGOL?

We have a very detailed source  / "join" layer with c. 700 fields - under the 1024 limit for a feature layer.
We would like to spatially join these to transfer these fields to a new feature layer - via a basic point in polygon join/ intersect.
At the moment we are getting a simple " Failed to publish the result " error.
The process works for a dataset with far less fields (50), which leads me to think that the number of fields is the issue.
Any thoughts appreciated

Hi @BCPKerridge1,
Analysis will not succeed if the output exceeds the limit of 1024 for the feature layer that you mentioned.
How many fields are on your target layer?

Would you be able to share your data with me so I can look into the error?
Are you running Join Features in Map Viewer? If so, would you be able to share the Run ID listed in the History messages tab?

Hi @AmandaRing
Apologies for the slow reply.  I think we are going to go down a different processing route now, and looking at using the sample function on imagery but yes, it was under the 1024 number of fields and it was run the Map Viewer.  Unfortunately, the history doesn't need seem to have recorded the run ID but thanks for following up.
