Is Manage Feature Template Coming to the New Map Viewer?

Hey all,

Looking to get an update whether the 'Manage Feature Template' functionality is coming across from the classic map view to the new one?

Or is there a better way already to manage this in the new version?

Hi @tiztrain, 

Yes, providing a way to manage feature templates within Map Viewer is on our future road map. In the mean time, as you pointed out, you can use Map Viewer Classic. Another option available to you in ArcGIS Online is to use the Field Maps Designer app.

To manage feature templates in the Field Maps Designer app, follow these steps:

1. Open the Field Maps Designer app.
2. Navigate to the layer for which you want to manage feature templates.
3. Tap on the 'Templates' tab, which contains the list of existing templates for that layer.
4. To create a new template, tap on the 'Add Template' button and provide the necessary information.
5. To edit an existing template, tap on the template you want to modify and make the desired changes.
6. To delete a template, swipe left on the template and tap on the 'Delete' option.
