Is it possible to clip layers in a Feature Service?

Hi there,

I have a feature service that I am using in a map on ArcGIS Online. I want to then use this to collect data using ESRI's Collector App.
Some of the layers that I am using in the feature service are quite large and draw really slow in the app.  I was wondering if there is a way of clipping the layer to limit the number of features being drawn?

no, there isn't a way to clip a layer. You can set scale visibility so that the layer only draws at appropriate scales.
