Incorrect Location using Esri Locator on Instant Apps

Hi there,

I have an instant app, where users search for an address. Unfortunately, in some cases, Esri's built-in locator displays incorrect location - very different than Google Maps. For instance, if you search for 1 Normanton Road South Croydon, the result is incorrect. Even though I tested the coordinates instead of address itself, the result is still incorrect. You can access the public instant app via the link below.

tfl.maps.arcgis.com/apps/instant/lookup/index.html?appid=5e6c89776213414f91262efdd9d41234

How can I resolve this issue?  Is there other more reliable and accurate locator API available similar to Google Maps?

Many thanks!

@DanielFox1 Hi Daniel, we've changed the basemap and now the both basemap and layers have the same projection of BNG but the problem still arises. We get these queries a lot and some of the locations are showing on the wrong location. Could you please further help us solve this?

Many thanks!
