I've geocoded an Excel table using the ArcGIS for Excel add-in and everything goes as planned when creating points on the map. However, when I share the layer to My Content to create a hosted service, I get an incorrect date/time. I've read through the data format considerations but they don't address my issue. Is there a different formatting option I should be using in Excel to fix this?
This makes me think there is no way around this currently:
Cell formatting, such as double or datetime, may not be preserved in pop-ups when sharing a map or layer to ArcGIS Online. In these cases, ArcGIS for Excel publishes the value in the cell, not the formatted string, and additional analysis can be performed on the value.
