I am trying to plot a map of population density in ArcMap.
I have an excel document that gives the population density (a raster input?) of different output areas (how the country is split for censuses) and I have plotted a map of these output areas using ArcMap. I have managed to add the population density to the layer containing the output areas as a field.
Is there any way to show the population density on the map as well? Ideally through shading in the output area dependent on the population density inside?
