I have created a organisation through buying a home user license and wanted to add members so people can see what I am doing but when I click invite members it says I have reached my member limit.

Can someone explain why there is a limit?

With an ArcGIS Home (Personal) Use Account, you get the following

The no. of AGOL named account you get with an ArcGIS personal use license is one (01).

To share with others, you might like to share the content with everyone (public), and share the URL of the Map/Web Application with your fellow mates.

Thanks Jayanth Nagendra‌!

As personal use organizations only have one member, you can share your content either publicly, if you want viewers to access your content anonymously or if the users that want to view your content have their own organizational account, you can create a group and invite them to the group!
