Trying to configure a fairly simple pop-up with some descriptive text and hyperlink to a web page.
The point features include a LABEL field which has the name of the facility and Hyperlink field which, curiously enough, contains the complete hyperlink in a format like this: http://www.srhc.com
If I configure the pop-up using "A list of field attributes" the hyperlink works, it displays as follows:
More info... More info
I realize I can edit the first "More Info...". The second More info functions properly as a hyperlink.

So now my issue. I want to use the custom attribute display so I can have more control of the pop-up.
If I just click the (+) and click on {Hyperlink} it adds it to the text box and if you click on the facility the pop-up will show http://www.srhc.com  with no indication that it is a hyperlink. When I try to use the Create link tool and I place {Hyperlink} in the URL: section it says "The value entered is not valid".
So the question is, how can I get the value of the field named "Hyperlink" into the URL: section of the custom pop-up dialog?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Unfortunately, you can't do this in the ArcGIS.com map viewer. The custom popup editor uses an out-of-the-box widget that doesn't support our field substitution syntax and thus, expects an explicit http:// value. This is on our list of things to do.

However, you can do this in ArcGIS Explorer Online...Open your map in ArcGIS Explorer Online and edit the popup there. From the Details panel, there is a link to open in Explorer Online.

Mike, with the new version rolling out this month, 9/17/2013, will this enhancement finally be added? It seems quite silly for this particular application not to have this customizable ability to link a from a table.

This should be working now. Are you experiencing some problem?

I am having this issue.  I'd like to change the "more Info" to read something else while using the URL in the field as the link.

Insight appreciated.

Hm I wanted to do this exact same thing today.  Would really like to.

My main desire is I often want to customize the popup just a little bit..  i.e. I want most of it, just one thing like this customized. But if you go Custom html you have to re-create the entire popup's HTML/CSS. Would be nice to do Custom HTML for only one attribute or row.

Hi, I have a problem that, when clicked, I will not offer insert a link. I tried IE, Chrome and FF.
Thank you for the explanation.

Hi, I'm having the same problem as MUBenesov.  When I attempt to insert a hyperlink the text highlights, the link icon shines but no dialog box appears for my to paste the URL.

Thanks.
