How to remove the "Number of features" legend item from a web map in AGOL?

I have a web map in AGOL and I'm using the clustering aggregation option to visualize my data by categories (with a unique symbols symbology). The category part of the legend with the colors looks fine, but there is this "Number of features" section (showing the graduated size of the symbols) that I want to get rid of. Is this possible to do?

Go to style > classify data and change the labels.

You can add a space (' ') to effectively remove the labels.

Just keep in mind users won't know the size the circles represent.

Hi Chris, thank you for your response. I didn't actually classify the data into graduated categories, I used the "unique symbols" and "cluster aggregation" tool to get graduated aggregation of points based on zoom level. I should have been clearer. I cannot see any option to edit or remove the "Number of features" part of my legend and I suspect that it cannot be removed as of now.

I am actually having the same issue as well! There doesn't appear to be a way to remove the "Number of Features" from the legend. It only appears when I am using the Aggregation > Clustering option

It's also a little confusing to readers, because if you Zoom in an out of the map - it will eventually show duplicate symbology. I suspect it is trying to be a dynamic Legend as you adjust the map, but it gets stuck:

Thank you!

It's likely by design. When you have dynamic styling, the count will change, so it makes sense that it's a) shown and b) not manipulated.

I'm not sure why you'd want to remove this as it makes the map less usable in my opinion. There may be better symbology options that give the desired outcome whilst still allowing for some end user interpretation.

But if you need this, feel free to create an ArcGIS Idea, and make sure to include the business logic/rationale...
