Good morning,

How can I publish a FC that has a Relationship Class with a Table to AGOL?

Copy FC to a map and publish?  Does it include the Table, or do I have to add the table to the map?

Zip the FGDB and publish the FGDB?

Please advise.

If the relationship class with the table is already configured in the file geodatabase, you should be able to publish it from ArcGIS Pro to AGOL as usual. It should automatically create the relationship class and add the table to the feature service.

The table doesn't have to be in the map when you publish. Before publishing it will give you a warning that the related table is not in the map, but it still works. I would add the table to the map prior to publishing as a best practice, but not required.

If you don't want to go through Pro, I believe zipping the FGDB and publishing directly in AGOL would work. I'm not certain though.

Hello @JoseSanchez and @jmaxwell_braun,

To complement your comment @jmaxwell_braun, the file geodatabase zipping should indeed work; as written in the docs: "You can publish the following data types from a file geodatabase to a hosted feature layer: Feature classes (x- and y-coordinates; m- and z-coordinates are dropped), Tables, Attachments, Relationship classes, Parcel fabrics" (source).

And @JoseSanchez, you might also want to check this support article.
