How to change the field order of a hosted feature layer

I am trying to do this on a table in the layer specifically - I am using crowdsource and the editing pane is set up to go in order of the fields which is not how I want it and I continue to create new fields as I go.

Hi Laura,

Try this:

1. Open the webmap used in the app in Map Viewer Classic

2. Configure the pop-up of the layer in question and re-order the fields in the way you want.

3. Click Ok to save your changes and Save the webmap

4. Launch the app and verify that the order is correct in the edit pane.

Note that configuring the pop-up in the new Map Viewer instead of Map Viewer Classic will not yield the same result since there is a current defect in review that describes an issue with this app not respecting the field order of pop-ups in the new Map Viewer.
