Hello,

I have a Map Service (published from our on-prem ArcGIS Server and host the layer in AGOL), How can I add a MAP SERVICE sub-layer to Web Viewer?

(In the Web Map Classic Version, after i added a Map Service, i can get the URL of the sub-layer and add the sub-layer URL directly, but it doesn't work for the New Map Viewer)

thanks,

W

You can add the URL directly by clicking Add and selection Add layer from URL

This brings up the Add layer dialog, which accepts the sub-layer URL

Select the sub-layer you want.  Upper right, click Properties, expand "Information", then click on the layer name.  This will take you to the REST endpoint of the sub-layer.

Can you share the REST url?  I am having no issues in new map viewer (at least with this :).

Thanks! Unfortunately, the service is locked and the content is confidential.

I will contact Esri Tech Support regarding the error message 🙏

Did you get any help from the support?

I want to do the same thing but can't figure it out.

Thanks!
