I'm trying to add a zipped SHP witch contains Hebrew fonts inside it. The titles of the fields are in english. When I adding the SHP to my map inside ArcGIS online the Hebrew font coms out in Jeebrish.
I attached the URL to my map.

Thanks,

Unfortunately, that is not the URL...you need to open your map from 'My Content' then the ID number of the map will be part of the URL

The shapefile has to have UTF-8 characters in it.

I am not an expert in this area. A colleague pointed me to this knowledge base article...

Hope this helps,

Mike

Thanks Mike,
How do I make the shape file to have UTF-8 characters before I zip it and add to ArcGIS online.

I hope this URL is right:

Thanks once again,
Daniel

Hi again,
I tried to unicode the shapefile to UTF-8 by following this post:
http://support.esri.com/en/knowledgebase/techarticles/detail/21106

It did not work!
Any ideas?

Thanks,
Daniel
