Geometric Networks and ArcGIS Online

We have a sewer network that has a geometric network attached to it and would like to publish it to ArcGIS Online to take it in the field.  The goal is to update the accuracy in the field with Collector using the update position feature in the app.  The issue with this process is that once the manholes move, the gravity mains will need to be snapped back to their new location.  My question is if the data is published to AGO in a geometric network, will the gravity mains move with the points once their location is update?

Hosted services within ArcGIS Online do not support geometric networks.  Only simple features are currently supported with ArcGIS Online.  In your example, moving the manholes would not result in movement of the gravity mains.

We recognize this as a limitation, and are currently working on improving the capabilities of network data to allow for appropriate behavior (such as moving connected features) across the platform.

actually I am talking about ArcGIS Desktop 10.2.1  Editor so no issue for limitations any other idea ???
