Font size of text and labels changing when displayed on devices with differing screen sizes for maps in StoryMaps

Hello Esri Community,

I am relatively new to ArcGIS Online and StoryMaps and so if you could explain how to do this as simply as possible that would be greatly appreciated (I am probably missing something very simple anyways).

I am trying to display two maps I created on ArcGIS Online using the Swipe widget in StoryMaps. I have added text on the maps using the Sketch function on ArcGIS Online (used as titles) and have added labels for each individual feature using the Label function on ArcGIS Online. The map looks good when viewed from a computer screen within the StoryMap but when I preview it on a smart phone screen the text is much too large and covers everything in the map. Since the maps are being displayed using the Swipe widget, scrolling cannot be enabled so it is not an issue of people scrolling out and the text being preserved to the map scale.

I'll share some photos to get my point across a little more clearly:

Any help would be truly amazing!
