Enable pop-ups to open on hover in mapviewer

I was wondering if there was a way to enable pop-ups to open on hover in mapviewer?  I'm not seeing this as an option in mapviewer other than to enable pop-ups, but have read it is available in other formats such as storymaps and possibly experience builder.  I had this question from one of the planners/engineers who uses a mapviewer alot for a map I created for them and they were hoping that this was an option as it would save them from having to click on everything to get a pop-up.

I think you can get this functionality in the Instant Apps, but not regular Map Viewer as far as I know (unfortunately!). 

It would be a great feature for them to add as an option to Map Viewer - maybe you could add as an ArcGIS Idea to the community if there isn't one already?

Any progress on this feature? I would like to have this enabled on the webmap popup builder rather than going through the Instant apps. And If through Instant apps then please add the feature to the Interactive legend instant app.
