I am the administrator and created a shared update group for members of my organization. The aim is for members to have autonomy to update items especially to manage fields, lists etc.

A member of the organization cannot edit the hosted feature layer that I've created and added to a shared update group. Does adding items to shared update groups not include adding/deleting fields, creating lists or modifying symbology of the feature layer for members?
