I'm the admin to a university ArcGIS Online Organization. One of our researchers has an AGO projects that includes data collection using Field Maps and partners from two other Universities (each with their own AGO Orgs). Is a partnered collaboration the only way allow the two researchers from other orgs to access and edit our hosted feature layer in Field Maps, or is there a simpler way for them to all work together?

Hi @DavidMedeiros

Yes, partnered collaboration is a good option, especially if you want folks in the partner organizations to be able to edit the same maps and apps. However, if they only need to edit the data in a map that you share, there are other options.

Other options could include:

1. Create a Group, and allow users from other orgs to be a part of that group. Share the map and layer(s) to the group.

2. Enable Public Data Collection and Share the map and layer(s) with Everyone, but that means that data viewing and editing are available to all ArcGIS Online users, which has inherent risks.
